Why test prints matter

At Print Haven, we recommend a test print before larger photo or art orders. It gives you a practical view of how the image behaves on the selected paper and finish, so you can review tone, detail, and overall feel before production continues.

Our file review checks resolution and profile setup, and we also look for obvious layout issues that could affect the print result. If a correction is needed, we explain it clearly so you can update the file before anything is produced.

A small proof can save time, reduce waste, and make the final choice easier.

Paper and finish choices are discussed in straightforward terms. That makes it easier to compare options for photographic prints, art reproduction prints, portfolio sets, or a small exhibition print set without making the decision more complicated than it needs to be.

Production is typically completed within three to six business days after files, materials, and quantity are confirmed. Finished prints are packed flat with protection for collection in Søgne, and orders can be placed by file upload, email, or appointment.
